Quavo‘s dedication to Takeoff will continue with his next project, which he announced is “coming soon.”

Taking to Instagram Tuesday, Quavo said Rocket Power is for his late nephew and their true fans, but it’s also been a personal form of therapy.

“This is album is a true reflection of how I feel right now. Sometimes I’m Good, sometimes I’m Down, sometimes I’m Disappointed, sometimes I fall apart but then I ALWAYS find my strength again,” Quavo explained. “I know everything might not be alright right now, but the rocket showed me a way to make it RIGHT!”

“Rocket Power keeps me going, rocket power gives me fuel,” he continued. “Rocket Power will help us all overcome whatever we’re going through.”

Takeoff passed away in November after he was shot outside a bowling alley in Houston. Quavo, his uncle and fellow Migos group member, has since paid tribute to the late star with the releases of “Greatness” and “Without You,” the latter of which he performed during the In Memoriam segment of the 2023 Grammys.
