This week’s K104 BEAST OF THE WEEK game balls go to Destiny Burton of Mansfield Timberview and Jarren Cook of Carrollton Newman Smith!
Destiny Burton (Mansfield Timberview) – Burton was a double-double machine for the Timberview Lady Wolves last week notching 18 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks against Granbury and 22 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks against Burleson. The Lady Wolves are currently in first place in District 5-5A.
Jarren Cook (Newman Smith) – Cook had dominating performances last week for the undefeated Newman Smith Trojans posting 32 points, seven rebounds and three assists against Conrad and 18 points, three rebounds, two steals and an assist against Thomas Jefferson. The Sam Houston State commit finished the week shooting 64% from the field.
