ABC/Randy HolmesOver the weekend, songwriter Glass John claimed in a series of tweets that Travi$ Scott has delayed release of Rihanna’s Anti album. Now, Scott has responded to the speculation.
According to XXL, Trav took a screenshot of a news article featuring John’s bold claims and wrote the following caption on Snapchat: “Don’t believe this s***.”
The rapper’s response follows tweets sent from John on December 26, in which he accused Travis of pressuring Rihanna to release a “trap hood ghetto album.”
“Travis Scott keeps telling my wife she needs to make an all trap hood ghetto album…And Roc nation keeps listening to Travis because they think he is a genius… I DONT F****** SEE IT THO,” John said on Twitter.
John also explained that Rihanna’s Anti album is complete, and would have been out for Christmas if it wasn’t for Scott.
“THE ALBUM WOULD’VE BEEN OUT ON CHRIS[T]MAS. IF TRAVIS HADNT CONVINCED RIHANMA [sic] THAT WASNT GOOD ENOUGH . WHAT HAS HE PRODUCED TO SAY THIS!!?!!!” the songwriter wrote on Twitter.
Glass collaborated with Rihanna on a song called “Kiss It Better,” although its unclear if the song will appear on Anti.
