Def JamKanye West celebrated Mother’s Day with his wife, Kim Kardashian, in perfect harmony: he brought in a ten-piece orchestra to serenade the mother of two.
Kim woke up to the surprise on Sunday, and captured the moment on Snapchat saying, “Mother’s Day surprise in my living room!”
The orchestra played a classical rendition of Frozen’s “Let It Go,” and “Tomorrow,” from Annie.
In a short clip posted on Instagram, a number of string players can be seen playing music as Kim and daughter North watch from a balcony that overlooks the room.
Kim posted her thoughts on her website, writing, “As a daughter, granddaughter, sister and a mother of two myself, I consider all the moms in my life to be the strongest women I know..” She added a picture of her mother, Kris Jenner, and maternal grandmother, Mary Jo.
“It’s so important to remember the women who brought us into the world and everything they do for us,” Kim concluded. “Happy Mother’s Day, everyone!!!”
