Soulja Boy was arrested in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning after authorities allegedly found a loaded gun in his possession.
The 23-year-old rapper, born DeAndre Way, was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over in the San Fernando Valley for running a stop sign, according to TMZ.
During the stop, law enforcement officials observed that Soulja was in possession of a loaded gun and arrested him.
He was immediately taken to a nearby jail and is currently being booked.
This marks Soulja Boy’s second run-in with the law. He was previously arrested on drug and weapons charges in October 2011.
