Robin Thicke is among the many artists recruited on DJ Cassidy‘s debut album, Paradise Royale, arriving this spring on Columbia Records.
The blue-eyed crooner, who can be heard on the lead single “Calling All Hearts,” is joined by R. Kelly, Mary J. Blige, Cee Lo Green, John Legend, Estelle, Ne-Yo, Kelly Rowland and Usher, among others. The 10-song set also includes contributions from noted musicians like Philip Bailey, Verdine White, and Larry Dunn of Earth, Wind & Fire and from Kool & The Gang.
“Producing this album, I set out on a mission to bring the greatest and most universal dance music of all time back to the airwaves, back to nightlife, back to the dance floor,” says Cassidy in a statement. He also hopes to evoke what he calls the “golden era of dance music.”
Coming off his openingslot on Jay Z and Justin Timberlake‘s Legends of the Summer tour, Cassidy will hit the road for Robin Thicke’s nationwide tour, beginning February 21 in Atlanta.
