Rihanna’s ANTI World Tour Kicks Off in Jacksonville, Florida

by

Marianna Massey/WireImageRihanna kicked off her ANTI World Tour at Jacksonville, Florida’s Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday night, and it was nothing short of spectacular, according to The Florida Times-Union.

The evening began with the 28-year-old singer rising up on a small stage behind the soundboard in the back of the arena, belting out her hit, “Stay,” dressed in an ankle-length hooded white robe. A flying bridge then carried her from one end of the arena to the other.

The slick production also included at least half-a-dozen costume changes, a team of acrobatic dancers and a set that featured — among other things — a giant shower curtain dripping 10-foot chunks of foam behind the stage, according to the newspaper.

Rather than introducing the band by name, credits rolled over the video screens at the end of the show, thanking them and everyone involved in the production.

RiRi’s set list also included “B**** Better Have My Money,” “Consideration,” an abbreviated version of “Umbrella,” “Desperado,” “We Found Love,” “Where Have You Been,” “Diamonds,” “Needed Me,” “Same Ol’ Memories,” “Work” and “FourFiveSeconds.”

She wrapped up the concert with “Love on the Brain” and “Kiss it Better,” from her eighth and latest studio album, ANTI. There was no encore.

Another concertgoer posted highlights from the show on YouTube.

Rihanna’s ANTI World Tour continues on Tuesday with a show in Miami, Florida.
