Nicki Minaj is upset. The rapper told her Twitter followers that she was denied the opportunity to speak to students at New York City’s LaGuardia High School, which is the performing arts school that she graduated from before she pursued her music career.
Nicki expressed her disappointment online. “I wanted to go back to my HS and speak to the students but the new principal declined. No need for me to inspire them, I guess. Smh,” she tweeted.
She adds, “That school changed my life and I wanted to pay it forward to the students there now. I was really looking forward to it.”
When asked by one of her fans why she was declines, Nicki replied: “I guess I’m not good enough.”
To compensate, her Barbz quickly reaffirmed that Nicki was a positive influence in their lives. One of the messages that Nicki re-tweeted read: “Because of Nicki’s drive, I applied to two universities. Like I never thought I’d be at that point in my life.”
