ABC/Lou RoccoThey may not be officially engaged yet, but Nicki Minaj has nothing but love for her new beau, Meek Mill. Just a day after her ex-boyfriend, Safaree “SB” Samuels,released a telling song, “Love The Most,” about their 12-year relationship, Nicki hopped on Twitter to reveal she’s over the drama.
“God gave me a good heart. I always let ppl get over on me way too long. But that’s why I’m blessed. I’ll always b blessed. May God keep u,” Nicki tweeted, before adding: “And just for the record, I’m in love with meek. Lol and now I have a huge smile on my face.”
Nicki then addressed her history with her ex. “Making a 12 yr relationship work at such young ages? We’re BOTH the real MVP. things got rocky at the end but we had a GREAT run,” she wrote. Then, in a tweet that has since been deleted, Nicki offers up one suggestion to Samuels: “Enough with the pity party. Just live your life.”
Nicki and Meek have been dating since late last year. “Thank u for loving me. Thank u for seeing the best in me,” she tweeted. “Thank u for lifting me up & not pulling me down. U saw the real me. Thank u.”
