Despite being on the same label, Maybach Music rappers Meek Mill and Wale have publicly fallen out.
Meek, who recently announced the release date for his new album, Dreams Worth More than Money, called out Wale for not supporting his highly anticipated effort.
“Wale just ain’t gone tweet a thing about my album…. He’s been hating on me long time now …don’t even text me cornball! #UNOTMMG,” tweeted Meek.
He continued, “I don’t need no support…It’s about a lot of these dudes really b hating behind closed doors..All these guys that’s on the rap scene kno.”
Wale responded in a lengthy Instagram post, in which he suggests that there’s been tension brewing in the Maybach Music camp for a while.
“I wrote a long ass post day before his single dropped .. Mariah record dropped nobody said a word I didn’t care .. I still don’t…” he wrote referring to the duet he recently did for Carey’s latest album.
Wale clarifies that he is not jealous of Meek. “I don’t need to take anybody shine.. Or hate on anybody . I walk in a completely different world,” he wrote and added, “I’m sensitive ok. Maybe bi polar. But one thjng I’m not is a hater..“
He also revealed that he texted Meek on Father’s Day and got no response. “I laugh it off,” he wrote.
