NBC’s annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center will celebrate the lighting of the fame New York City landmark’s Christmas tree with some of music’s brightest stars. Mary J. Blige will all be performing at the holiday event on Wednesday, December 2.
This will be the second time MJB has appeared on the annual show — she previously showcased “The Christmas Song” back in 2013. The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, who released her first holiday album last year, will be joined by pop stars Carly Rae Jepsen, Pentatonix and more.
The tree this year is a 78-foot tall Norway spruce from Gardiner, New York. The hour-long special airs on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.
