Chris Brown made an appearance at a probation progress hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court Wednesday and reportedly was praised by the judge for his good behavior.
After receiving a favorable report from the probation department, the judge praised Brown for being in full compliance with the terms of his probation, E! News reported.
At the request of his attorney, the judge agreed to reduce the frequency of random drug testing to two times a week instead of three.
Brown didn’t post any tweets himself, but did retweet one from Alan Duke of CNN that read: “Judge just praised @chrisbrown for a good probation report, noting he’s tested negative on all drug tests since release from jail.’’
The probation is in connection with Brown’s 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna.
Brown’s next court hearing is set for October 23. The probation period is scheduled to end in January 2015.
