Next week, Jill Scott will serve as one of the guest mentors on NBC’s hit reality singing competition series, The Voice.
The network has released a teaser of the upcoming battle rounds, in which Scott appears excited while speaking to Usher’s team. Aloe Blacc also joins the show as an adviser for Adam Levine‘s team. Both artists will give help the contestants get prepared for the head-to-head segment of the show.
Usher previously described Jill his “secret weapon” this season. “[She’s] incredible, as a writer, as a musician, as an actress, all those elements really help to prepare artists,” he said in an interview with Extra.
The Voice returns Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
