ABC/Randy HolmesIggy Azalea has returned to Twitter just a day after Eryakah Badu openly dissed her at the 2015 Soul Train Awards on Sunday night, where Badu declared that Iggy’s music is “definitely not rap.”
Without naming names, Iggy responded to her detractors on Tuesday afternoon. “Hi guys i know its been a while. We are days from 2016, but i came online today and saw its still cool to try and discredit my 2014 accomplishments. LOL, f******* hell,” she tweeted.
After claiming to be “exhausted” by her haters, she gave fans an update on her sophomore album. “I don’t really know what im doing with my music release; but im finished (except for getting the features recorded),” she wrote. “Right now i live in America and am very close to the Def Jam team; but im actually signed out of the UK. Things are complicated.”
Iggy hints that it will take a few weeks to get things in order before she releases new material. “I’m ready with my music but i am also trying to restructure some things to work smoother and better for me,” she assures.
After mentioning that her horse possibly has Lyme disease and complimenting Lady Gaga, Iggy ended her string of tweets by wishing her fans a happy holiday. “I’ll let you guys know if i get any updates, but if not… see you next year! enjoy the rest of 2015. xoxo,” she wrote.
