Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane has been sentenced to 39 months in prison and he may face travel restrictions after his release, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Gucci Mane, whose birth name is Radric Davis, pleaded guilty in May to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was arrested last September and has already served 11 months in prison, leaving him with 28 months remaining on his sentence. Had he gone to trial, he could have been sentenced to up to 10 years.
When he’s released on probation, Mane, 34, will not be allowed to leave the Northern District of Georgia for more than seven days a month unless he has a probation officer’s permission.
Mane was a felon on probation when police say they caught him with a .45-caliber handgun and multiple rounds of ammunition last September.
