The rapper has announced that his doctor recommended that he pull out of the three-day festival, taking place in London and Birmingham, as well as from Denmark’s Roskilde Festival.

“To my beloved fans, it truly breaks my heart that I won’t be able to perform as planned at Wireless and Roskilde this weekend,” he said in a statement. “I got sick a few days ago and although I am on my way to bouncing back, my doctors have made it clear that I am not physically fit to fly or deliver the performance my fans expect and deserve from me.”

He continued, “I will be focused on resting for a quick recovery. I have the best fans in the world and I can’t wait to come back to make more incredible memories together.”

While Drizzy recovers, fans can expect Kanye West, who was already on the festival line-up, to headline a second show on Saturday, while  Rudimental and some special guests will handle an extended set in Birmingham.

Concertgoers will also see showcases from Bruno Mars, OutKast, Pharrell, Wiz Khalifa and Iggy Azalea during the Wireless festivities.
