2 Chainz has submitted a plea after being charged with one count of felony drug possession that stems from his arrest June 11, 2013, at Los Angeles International Airport.
TMZ reports the rapper, born Tauheed Epps, appeared in an L.A. courtroom on Tuesday to enter a not-guilty plea. He was later released on his own recognizance.
The rapper’s charge with possession of a controlled substance stems from when authorities found marijuana and codeine in his checked luggage. Codeine was found in his homemade recreational drink sizzurp.
2 Chainz faces up to three years in prison if convicted.
