Ray J was arrested at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on Friday night after allegedly getting into a argument in the lounge.
The Beverly Hills Police Department tells E! News that officers were called to the hotel in response to a sexual battery complaint. It was alleged that Ray J had grabbed a woman’s butt, but responding officers determined the “contact was incidental.”
Beverly Hills Public Information Officer Lieutenant Lincoln Hoshino told E! News the singer agreed to leave the hotel, but when he went to retrieve his vehicle, he allegedly “became belligerent with the valets and refused to leave.”
Police arrested the 33-year-old and put him in a police car. However, he allegedly kicked the side window of the car and shattered it. Police then removed him from the vehicle and restrained his feet. Then, cops claim Ray J spit in one of the officer’s faces.
Ray J was arrested for trespassing, vandalism, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer. His bail was set at $20,000.
