50 Cent continues to land new TV opportunities, both in front of and behind the camera. Following the success of his hit STARZ show Power, the mogul has signed on to co-executive produce a new Fox sitcom titled My Friend 50 alongside Will Packer.
Deadline reports 50 also will make occasional appearances as a version of himself in the series, which “follows Amanda Kramer, an unstable twenty-something who believes that joining 50 Cent’s entourage is the answer to all her problems. Her unlikely journey with 50 Cent’s crew takes the form of a bizarre documentary commissioned by the most unreliable narrator in history: Amanda.”
The single-camera series is written by Ava Tramer.
