Let’s first start with the definition of “Non-Fiction” – Non-fiction, or nonfiction, is a narrative that strictly presents presumably real-life events, established facts, and true information. With this being the title of Ne-Yo’s new album, it’s safe to say that the collection of songs on this album are based on real life experiences, whether they are his or his fans’ experiences we may never know but some his life is pretty interesting. If you follow the R&B superstar or a certain model on Instagram, you know what I’m talking about. Besides, making music, producing, writing and grooming his own upcoming talent for his Compound Music label, Ne-Yo is an awesome father to twins Maddie and Mason who he co-parents with his former fiancee, Monyetta Shaw. What’s interesting is that they still live in the SAME HOUSE together! I can’t even have a decent conversation with my child’s father on the phone! Not only does Ne-Yo shack up with his ex, he has a lady “friend” that he often makes appearances with via IG. Being the ultimate ladies man, is what Ne-Yo has seemed to master over the years, he has an uncanny ability to say exactly what a woman wants to hear, in her language. A classic Ne-Yo is what you get with Non-Fiction . Ballads filled with compliments, encouragement and things only your man would whisper in your ear, Non-Fiction will be a fan favorite. But don’t think that Ne-Yo didn’t think about the guys in this new album, songs like Story Time detail what every man has wanted to ask his woman about: Threesomes, and I have to admit after hearing the song, he makes it sound interesting.
