Ella Mai:
The person who knows for sure its about them. This song is about still being with someone and still being infatuated with someone its definitely about being in love. I was just reflecting thinking about it saying like, I’ll never get over you until I find someone new. I feel like everyone can relate to the song.

I’m from London. I lived in New York for 5 years old high school in New York. It was very different and being twelve, you’re trying to find yourself. Also, you’re in that weird stage of life and moving to somewhere were the culture is very different. I visited New York a lot for family. I went back to London from New York once I graduated high school and I went to school for music and I was originally in a Girl Group and that didn’t work out and then I thought randomly, what can I do for the world to see me. I decided to put a cover on Instagram and the very first one that I put up got reposted by The Shade Room.

No, There hasn’t been a moment I met someone and said I’ve made it but I’ve met people who I was like why when I was little these are people that I look up to like Chris Brown. I was in the same room as Beyonce, I didnt speak to her becuase I was almost dead on the floor.
