This week’s K104/1-800 Truck Wreck BEAST OF THE WEEK game balls go to Aaron Cooper of FW Dunbar and Lorenz Handy of Wilmer-Hutchins!
Aaron Cooper (FW Dunbar) – Cooper led the way for the Dunbar Wildcats as they defeated Lake Worth on Thursday night, 34-20. The senior wide receiver had a loaded stat line on both sides of the ball with 118 yards of total offense (99 receiving yards, 10 rushing yards, nine passing yards), three touchdowns (two receiving, one rushing), caught two two-point conversions, six solo tackles (four assists), a pass break up, and a forced fumble.
Lorenz Handy (Wilmer-Hutchins) – Handy was a one-man wrecking crew on Friday night in Wilmer-Hutchins’ win over Hillcrest, 38-28. The senior linebacker finished with 17 Tackles (eight solo, two for loss), four pass break ups and three interceptions.
