The senior quarterback finished the night with seven total touchdowns (four rushing, three passing), over 400 yards of total offense (16-21 220 Yards passing, 12 attempts for 198 yards rushing), and a two-point conversion for the Velt win.

Jayveion Moore (Arlington Lamar) – Jayveion Moore led a stout Lamar Vikings defense in their 38-0 shutout victory over Garland Naaman Forest. Moore compiled a strong stat line of 11 tackles (four for loss), a sack, a fumble recovery, and an interception for a touchdown as the Vikings moved to 2-0.
