DeSoto Lady Eagles – Breaking records and making history is a regular thing at “DeSoto U.” and the Lady Eagles 4×100 squad didn’t miss a beat over the weekend on their way to another regional championship. Taylor Armstrong, Rosaline Effiong, Ja’Era Griffin, and Jayla Hollis RAN THE FASTEST 4×100 TIME IN US HIGH SCHOOL HISTORY with a mark of 44.44! DeSoto is on pace to win their FOURTH straight UIL State Girl’s Track championship!

Mansfield Summit Jaguars – This may be a surprise to some, but not the Jaguars! The quartet of Sean Smith, Jalon Rock, Will Jones, and Quenton Jones picked up gold in both the 4×100 (40.77) and the 4×200 (1:24.49) in a stacked field over the weekend! Summit is looking to do big things in the upcoming UIL State Track Meet.
