Online retailer Zappos has responded to Kanye West‘s recent complaints about the company’s products.
On Monday, the outspoken rapper expressed his disdain for the Zappos and its CEO, Tony Hsieh, saying the online retailer sells a “s**t product.”
Now, Zappos has responded to Ye’s rants by launching a new “s**t” product page on its website, offering a $100,000 toilet and plunger set.
In the item’s description, the company poked fun at West by incorporating some of his lyrics. “Interested in buying s**t product? You’ve come to the right place! Here at Zappos.com, we happily sell s**t products to everybody! This is the throne, everyone has been watching. Whether you’re #1 or #2, your clique will show no mercy, even in Paris,” it reads. The page also proclaims the toilet and plunger set “the perfect gift for the man that has everything,” including a link to a story about Kanye’s comments.
“I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he’s trying to tell me what I need to focus on,” West said during Bret Easton Ellis’ podcast, posted on Monday. “Meanwhile, he sells all this s**t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling s**t product.”
