Young Money — consisting of Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Drake — has scored it’s second top 10 album with Rise of an Empire, which entered the Billboard 200 chart at #7 this week.
The rap crew’s new compilation album, which features Tyga, Gudda Gudda, Cory Gunz, Lil Twist, Jae Millz and Shanell, sold 31,000 copies in its opening week in stores, according to the publication. However, the project’s sales start falls far below that of its predecessor, 2009’s We Are Young Money, which entered the Billboard 200 at #9 with 142,000 copies sold in its first week.
Elsewhere on the charts, Rick Ross‘ Mastermind slips from #1 to #3, selling an additional 49,000 copies while Pharrell Williams‘ G I R L dips from #2 to #5 with 45,000 in sales last week.
