Def Jam RecordingsYG has surprised fans with a new single, “Twist My Fingaz,” which is produced by Terrace Martin and will be featured on his next album, Still Krazy.
The rapper, who recently recovered from multiple gun shot wounds, brags about surviving the incident over the track, which is built around a synth-bass riff that hits at Funkadelic’s “One Nation Under a Groove.”
“I really got something to say, I’m the only one that made it out the West without Dre,” he declares. “I’m the only one that’s ’bout what he say, the only one that got hit and was walking the same day.”
The follow-up to his critically acclaimed debut, My Krazy Life, will arrive later this year.
