The Young Money Entertainment CEO told MTV.com, “I personally plan on this being my final solo album, yes and it’s definitely the final Carter album. It’s the final Carter album. It’s stopping at five.” The album is expected to be released May 5. Weezy maintains he is completely serious about retiring, however he just might stay in the game for a very large check.

“Twenty-five to 35 million would get me to do another solo album after this,” Wayne says. Regardless of whether he ends his solo career, Wayne still plans to collaborate with his artists. “Whenever I have to pitch in for a Young Money album,” he states, “a Like Father, Like Son album and something like that and maybe something out the blue.”

Even if Wayne stops rhymin’, you can bet he’ll still be busy running his empire. This week he released the compilation  Young Money: Rise of an Empire featuring his superstars Drake and Nicki Minaj in addition to newcomers Euro, PJ Morton and Chanel West Coast.
