Lil Wayne has big plans for 2014. The rapper announced that he will release two albums by the end of the year.
“This year, not only will I be dropping Tha Carter V, but I’m dropping two albums,” said Wayne during this week’s Weezy Wednesdays Internet video installment. “This year, be looking for two albums from me because I been out the game for a second.”
The rapper decided to create another studio effort after recording too many songs for his highly anticipated Tha Carter V.
“I went to work on Tha Carter V and I don’t stop working, so it was either Tha Carter V gonna be 93 songs or we gonna have to figure this out,” he explained.
He also hinted that fans can expect multiple albums in 2015. “So what we said was, we gonna drop two albums this year and then we gon’ probably end up dropping like seven next year.”
Before the clip ends, Wayne announced that he will allow fans to title his second album, which will arrive shortly after the release of Tha Carter V later this year.
