VH1 Hip Hop Honors Accomplishes a Slew of Network Firsts Following Telecast

VH1All hail VH1! The television network announced Wednesday that its Hip Hop Honors: All Hail The Queensspecial garnered more than three million total viewers during the live telecast on Monday. It was also VH1’s highest-rated Monday night in almost a year, the number-one cable program in its time period with women and the most social program on television Monday night, with a total of 630,000 tweets. For the first time in VH1 history, the program was also the network’s highest-rated tentpole in 15 years.

Also adding to the list of showtime dominance, the show produced 17 Twitter Trending Topics and reached three million people with its Facebook Live Red Carpet, which was also a first for the network.
