Kanye West is among the newly announced honorees for the 2015 BET Honors.
According to the network, the rapper will be the recipient of the Visionary Award for his work and contributions to the entertainment industry.
In addition, Usher will be honored with the Musical Arts Award for the impact he’s made as a performer. Actress Phylicia Rashad, former and first black female Spelman College President Johnetta Cole and Microsoft CEO John W. Thompson are expected to be recognized at well during the upcoming ceremony.
Hosted by Wayne Brady, the BET Honors will air on BET on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 9 p.m. ET.
