Last week, Usher starred in a new Honey Nut Cheerios commercial in which many believed that his album title was leaked. However, the bigger story is that the singer has partnered with the cereal brand to encourage people to be happy and healthy.
“Dance to me is a feeling, an emotion — the movement is good for your heart in so many ways,” said Usher in a statement. “I really feel like Buzz and I connected through dance during this shoot. He has some serious dance skills and I’m looking forward to getting more people dancing.”
In the 30-second spot, the crooner has a dance-off with Buzz the Bee as his single, “She Came to Give It to You,” plays in the background.
The singer is reminding everyone to get moving by sharing photos and videos of their dance moments with @Buzzthebee via Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr and using hashtag #cheerios.
