Usher Heads for the White House to Pay Tribute to Ray Charles

The singer will perform at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in front of President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama on February 24.

Anthony Hamilton, Leon Bridges, Andra Day, Yolanda AdamsEmpire’s Jussie Smollett and pop star Demi Lovato are just some of the other artists who’ll offer their takes on the songs of Ray Charles.

Smithsonian Salutes Ray Charles:  In Performance at the White House premieres Friday night at 9 p.m. ET nationwide on PBS and TV One.
