Usher will serve as an executive producer on an upcoming documentary on the alarming number of school dropouts in the U.S.
Usher got involved in the film, titled Undroppable, through Justin Bieber‘s manager Scooter Braun, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Of course, Usher helped launch Justin’s career.
Braun tells The Hollywood Reporter, “I knew Usher was very passionate about the issue of education, so I felt this was a great project to bring him into. His expertise will be invaluable as we continue this film and movement.”
Usher has a nonprofit organization, the New Look Foundation, that’s dedicated to helping young people find “a path to leadership and career.”
Undroppable is slated to be released sometime next year.
