According to Entertainment Weekly, Usher is among those contributing to the mixtape, which will be a collection of cover songs, remixes and new interpretations of tunes from the hit musical.
Other artists on board for the album include Common, Queen Latifah, Busta Rhymes, Chance the Rapper and Sia, among others.
Lin-Manuel announced plans for the mixtape back in October, tweeting, “So the show is done. Cast album is out. Now we begin planning The Hamilton Mixtape. Remixes & Covers & Inspired bys.“
The album is being eyed for a fall release.
