Voltron EntertainmentTyrese has kept his word. Last year, he promised fans that his final album, Black Rose, would feature more than just new songs. After having already produced a short film for his track “Shame”with Jennifer Hudson, he’s now released the official trailer for three-part visual that’s being described as the “Black Book.”
In the three-minute trailer, comprised of three music videos in one, we see Tyrese cheating on his on-screen girlfriend, singer V. Bozeman. The project follows their love story from a near break up to wedding bells — and yes, Tyrese’s former band mate Tank makes a cameo.
“Shame was #1 for 16 weeks on billboard….. The questions everyone kept asking me is HOW are you gonna follow that? What single?? I didn’t have just 1…. So f*** it I’m gonna drop 3 at one time,” Tyrese wrote in an e-mail. “Started out as a short…… Now folks are coming at me about turning it into a feature…… Mind blown!!! Get ready.”
Directed by Tyrese, the mini-film will premiere Easter Sunday, March 27.
