Tyler, the Creator was arrested Saturday in Austin, Texas, and has been charged with inciting a riot during a performance at the South by Southwest festival two days earlier.
According to an arrest affidavit, the Odd Future rapper, whose birth name is Tyler Gregory Okonma, was performing at the Scoot Inn when he yelled to people outside the venue to “push through” security. That led to fans bursting into the venue, and a bartender being punched in the face by an unknown man as he attempted to protect a woman from injury.
Tyler cancelled his scheduled Friday night show in Austin and was arrested the next day. He was released from custody on $25,000 bond, and performed in Dallas hours later.
