Tyga has officially pulled out of Wiz Khalifa‘s Under the Influence of Music tour, which is scheduled to kick off later this month.
Without going into detail, Wiz announced to his fans that the Young Money rapper is no longer on the roster. “Tyga dropped off the tour. Sorry ya’ll,” Wiz tweeted on Thursday,
Hours later, Tyga retweeted the news and added, “Sorry to all the fans. I’ll c y’all next time.” He revealed that he’s currently working on his upcoming album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty.
“I wanted to be [a part] of tour. But I’m finishin. Up my album and filmin a movie,” he wrote.
The previously announced lineup will still include Jeezy, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich Homie Quan, Sage the Gemini, Mack Wilds, Iamsu! and DJ Drama.
The 22-date trek begins July 24 in Scranton, Pennsylvania and will travel to major North American cities before concluding August 24 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, California.
