A cop who was with Tupac Shakur on the day he was shot in Las Vegas has revealed the rapper’s final, apparently profane, words.
Speaking to the weekly Las Vegas magazine Vegas Seven, former Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer Chris Carroll recalls that night in September, 1996. He says he asked Tupac who shot him, but Tupac ignored him.
Carroll says that when he repeated his question, Tupac “looked at me and he took a breath to get the words out, and he opened his mouth, and I thought I was actually going to get some cooperation. And then the words came out: ‘F*** you.'”
Carroll continues, “After that, he started gurgling and slipping out of consciousness. At that point, an ambulance showed up, and he went into unconsciousness.”
Tupac was shot on September 7, 1996 and died September 13 at age 25.
