Not only will fans get to hear Toni Braxton and Babyface‘s forthcoming duet album, Love, Marriage & Divorce, but you will also get to see the R&B veterans star in a new Broadway musical, After Midnight.
USA Today reports the pair will join Fantasia, who announced her involvement in July, for a two-week run in the production, which was created to pay homage to Duke Ellington‘s orchestra — which served as the house band for several years at the famous Cotton Club nightclub in Harlem.
Toni and Babyface’s stint won’t take place until March 18-30, 2014, but the official opening night for After Midnight will be November 3 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in New York City. While the production will mark Babyface’s Broadway debut, it’ll be Toni’s third stint on the Great White Way. She appeared previously in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Aida.
In related news, Love, Marriage & Divorce is expected December 3 via Motown Records.
