Tiny Hopes New Music Will Save Her and T.I.’s Relationship

by

Image Courtesy VH1This week saw Tiny and T.I. venting about their marriage through music. While she threatened to leave him in her newly issued song “What the F*** You Gon’ Do,” and her husband let down his guard in a song called “Stay,” the singer is just hoping that both songs can resolve their marital problems.

During an interview with Vibe, Tiny revealed that the songs weren’t deliberately planned to be released on the same day.

“T.I. did not hear my song until the whole world did. He knew nothing about it. I had heard his song and I loved it. But I did not know he was going to release it,” she explains. “So the day I dropped my song, I’m asking to see how it’s doing on iTunes and someone said, ‘It’s doing great — but did you hear T.I.’s new song?’ And I’m like, ‘What new song?!’ And it turns out to be ‘Stay.'”

For those who questioned why she’s blasting her husband publicly, Tiny says, “It’s because this is my life and my truth and this is how I choose to express it. Isn’t that what we do as entertainers? We go through stuff and we write about it. This is no different.”

So how will the music affect her relationship? “I really don’t know,” she says. “I mean if it does, I hope it’s in a good way. Hopefully, it works out in our favor in the end. All I know is that I’m working on it. We’re working on it.”
