“I have started recording my next album,” she tells ABC Radio. “I’m busy in the studio as we speak, so I’m very excited about new music.” she told ABC Radio during Live Nation’s first-ever National Concert Day in NYC on Tuesday.
While she’s still in the beginning stages, she says the new material will reflect her new experiences in life.
“I think I’ve definitely grown as an artist,” she says. “You know, you experience new things, just traveling, being on the road, meeting new people, seeing new cultures and how they listen to music, I think its a learning process for sure.”
Fans will get to see Tinashe showcase her recent material when she joins the North American leg of Nicki Minaj’s Pinkprint tour, beginning July 17 in Dallas, Texas, and wrapping up August 19 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
