CARASiPhotoThe Weeknd won a pair of awards this weekend at Canada’s answer to the Grammys, the Juno Awards.
He was honored during Sunday night’s broadcast in Hamilton, Ontario, with the Artist of the Year award.
The previous night, at a gala dinner where a number of the winners were revealed, he earned the prize for R&B/Soul Recording of the Year, for “Often.”
The Weeknd, whose birth name is Abel Tesfaye, hails from Toronto.
