The Game’s The Documentary 2 Debuts at No. 2

Blood Money/Fifth Amendment/Entertainment One MusicThe Game debuts at #2 on the Billboard 200 with his latest album, The Documentary 2.

According to the publication, the sequel to his 2005 debut sold 95,000 equivalent album units, of which were 83,000 in pure album sales. The set marks his seventh appearance in the top-10 on the list following last year’s  Blood Moon: Year of the Wolf, which opened at #7. He’s enjoyed three chart-toppers, beginning with his first effort, The Documentary.

The rapper celebrated the achievement with Bree’s cupcakes that featured hand-painted, blue and red bandana-styled icing.

Elsewhere in the top 10, The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind the Madness slips from #2 to #3, selling an additional 77,000 units, while Fetty Wap’s self-titled debut remains at #4 with 53,000 units. Drake and Future’s joint mixtape, What a Time to Be Alive, is down from #3 to #5 with 49,000 units, while last week’s chart-topper, Janet Jackson’s Unbreakable, slides to #8  with 30,000 equivalent album units.
