In less than three weeks, Tank will release his upcoming album Stronger, but he has surprised fans with a brand new ballad “Hope This Makes You Love Me.”
In the song, which was posted to YouTube in an audio-only clip, the singer shows his vulnerable side as he spills his heart.
“Look at me I’m such a mess / And I normally would keep this all to myself / All my heart is filled with pain / And I normally wouldn’t cry, but I’m gon’ let it rain,” he coos.
The new offering follows his previous singles: “You’re My Star,” “Stronger” and “Dance with Me.”
The follow-up to 2012’s This is How I Feel is due August 12.
