Kandi Burruss is set to marry her fiance, Todd Tucker this year. And now, her former Xscape band mate and star of T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, Tameka “Tiny” Harris says she’ll be in the wedding as a bridesmaid.
“She better not getting married without me…,” the reality star and wife of rapper, T.I., tells ABC News Radio. “I’m ready to get in this wedding [and] put my dress on.”
Burruss said previously that her Real Housewives of Atlanta cast mate Phaedra Parks will also be one of her bridesmaids, while the rest of the current cast is invited to the wedding as guests.
Other details of the nuptials, including the date and location, for now are completely under wraps. Burruss hasn’t even let her bridesmaids see her wedding dress yet. “Hopefully she’s gonna have on something with her figure showing,” Harris says of her friend’s wedding dress.
Harris adds that she can’t wait to welcome Burruss into the marriage club. “She’s a good girl. She’s found love and happiness. So, hey! More power to her,” she adds.
And although Burruss’ mother, Joyce Jones, may not like Tucker — a story line that has been painfully played out on Bravo’s RHOA — Harris gives Tucker her stamp of approval.
“I don’t know enough about Todd to say anything negative about him. But he’s very respectful. He’s a very nice person when I see him and he greets me well,” she explains.
Burruss, 37, and Tucker, 40, got engaged on New Year’s Day in 2013. The two first met in 2011 while shooting Real Housewives, where Tucker was a behind-the-scenes producer. He now appears on the show. The pair each have one child from previous relationships.
T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle returns to VH1 on Monday at 9 p.m. Eastern.
