Tamar Braxton and Jennifer Hudson have been tapped to perform for the 2013 Soul Train Awards, which is being taped on November 8 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
The singers join acts Smokey Robinson, K. Michelle, Wale, Kem, Chrisette Michelle, Eric Benét, Ronald Isley, Bobby Caldwell, Joss Stone and American Idol season 12 winner Candice Glover for the fifth annual show.
Kendrick Lamar leads all nominees with six nominations, including Best New Artist, Album of the Year and Song of the Year. Tied with five nominations each are Tamar, Miguel, Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, Chris Brown, and Janelle Monae.
Hosted by comedian Anthony Anderson, the 2013 Soul Train Awards will premiere on Centric and BET on December 1 at 8 p.m. ET.
