T.I. wants to help turn the spotlight on female hip-hop stars. The rap mogul has just signed on as an executive producer for Oxygen’s new series, Sisterhood of Hip Hop.
According to the network, the show will follow aspiring fem-cees Siya, Nyemiah Supreme, Diamond, Brianna Perry and Bia as they navigate the male-dominated music industry while aiming to become the the next big breakout star. The series will focus on the group of women “rewriting the rules of the music scene” and collaborating to make their dreams a reality.
Produced by 51 Minds with Chris Abrego, the team who brought you VH1 reality shows like Flavor of Love and I Love Ray J, Sisterhood of Hip Hop will premiere later this year.
