Atlantic Records/Warwick DavisT.I. has confirmed what fans have patiently been waiting for: a sequel to the 2006 movie ATL.
Almost a decade after the first movie’s release, the rapper posted an Instagram image of himself filming with director Chris Robinson and original co-stars Jackie Long, Albert Daniels and Jason Weaver. “#ATL2 Get Ready,” wrote Tip.
The rapper also confirmed that actress Lauren London reprise her role as his love interest. “Shad&New-New #ATL2#KeepWatching,” he wrote under another picture.
While that film is still in production, fans will soon get to see T.I. star alongside Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart in a different movie, Get Hard, which hits theaters March 27.
