‘Strong Arm’ Brian Loncar Dies at Age 53

Dallas Attorney Brian Loncar was found dead early Sunday, two days after his daughter’s funeral. Loncar’s death was confirmed by the Dallas County Medical Examiner according to WFAA, but no details were provided.

Please know the team Brian built here is resolved to continue service to you that is reflective of Brian’s winning record, strength, expertise, wisdom as well as his deep sense of caring for his clients and people in need of help.

His 16 year old daughter Grace Loncar, was a junior at Booker T. Washington High School in Dallas who took her own life Nov. 25th after a battle w/ depression since the age of 11.

The Strong family released a statement to WFAA Sunday:

“Our family is filled with enormous sadness and profound grief following the death of our beloved son, husband, father, friend, colleague, neighbor, advisor, and a man trusted by many people in Dallas and throughout the state of Texas. We are shocked and numbed by these tragic events and ask the community and the news media to respect our privacy in this most difficult time. Right now, we are hurting and struggling to understand. Today, we are embracing each other; we know this pain and heartache will be with us forever.”

Another statement from Loncar & Associates was released Sunday stating:

Brian Loncar’s colleagues and employees are shocked and enormously saddened by these tragic events. We are remembering and honoring his passion, commitment to his clients and skillful representation of people who are in pain and need the firm’s assistance.

Loncar, 56, leaves behind his wife, Sue, and five children: David, Patrick, Sally, Hailey and Abby.
